MetraLabs TORY Vision

TORY Vision captures shelf images to identify gaps, price-label issues and planogram deviations. It can also guide shoppers using a configured store catalog. The project is defined by the shelves and routes to inspect, not a fixed store-area or item-count rate.

What it does for your operation

In your operation

Keep shelf information current through the day

Repeated visual scans identify empty shelf positions, price issues and planogram deviations. The result supports store actions without waiting for the next manual audit.

Task performance

Help shoppers find the right location

The interaction system can guide customers to products using the configured store catalog. Product data and the store map need to stay aligned with assortment and layout changes.

In your operation

Use both sides for store communication

Front and rear displays create a mobile surface for offers, wayfinding and brand content. The useful message depends on where the robot is operating and what shoppers need there.

Daily operation

Combine scheduled inspection with automatic charging

TORY Vision is designed for repeated autonomous rounds. A schedule separates inspection priorities from customer-facing activities during busy periods.

Configuration

Check shelf presentation with cameras

Visual scans identify shelf gaps, price-label issues and planogram deviations. This suits stores that need shelf-condition checks and product guidance; item-level RFID counting requires the separate RFID configuration.

Will it work at your site?

Indoor

Access & operating limits

Coverage
Selected shelf rows, fixture heights/depths and readable price labels.
Route
Accessible aisles, turns, shopper traffic and an unobstructed dock approach.
Data
Store catalog, product locations and the price/planogram references used for checks.
Workflow
Staff replenish or correct the shelf after reviewing the observations.
Content
Store-specific screen and guidance content; no Arabic speech-recognition package is included by implication.

Camera inspection and product guidance are configured for the store. Images show visible shelf rows; they do not count every item hidden behind a facing. The RFID model’s antenna, height and throughput specifications do not apply to this camera workflow.

Before you decide.

What does a visual inspection produce?

TORY captures shelf-row images and analyses product positions, empty areas and price labels. Store teams use those observations to investigate and correct shelf conditions.

Is this the same as TORY RFID?

No. Vision examines visible shelves with cameras. Item-level RFID counting needs the separate reader hardware and compatible tags.

Does product guidance know our assortment automatically?

No. Guidance uses the configured store catalog and product locations. Those records need to stay aligned with assortment and layout changes.
