Selection logic

Four checks before the shortlist.

  1. One service task

Define what the robot does and what remains with your team.

  2. Visitor needs

Check language, accessibility, display content and the assisted fallback.

  3. Site movement

Map doors, queues, crossings and charging space.

  4. Team ownership

Assign who updates content, loads items, cleans equipment and handles exceptions.

Your site. One project.

Build the service around your guests and team.

Describe the visitor or staff journey and the repeated task you want to improve.

Reception, wayfinding or visitor assistance?

ApproachThe jobWhat to establish
Reception and information ↗Present approved information and answer a defined set of questions.Content ownership, update process and transfer to a person.
Wayfinding ↗Guide visitors to configured destinations.Accessible routes, occupied spaces and destination changes.
Indoor item delivery ↗Move supplies or guest items through the building.Load, compartments, recipient handover and building interfaces.

For Arabic and English interaction, test the actual software package, typical questions, names, pronunciation and background noise. Define what appears on screen when speech fails. Language support and system connections must be confirmed for the selected configuration.

How should we test Arabic reception before launch?

Prepare representative visitor questions and approved answers. Test them in the venue with its noise and accents, including place names and an unfamiliar question. Agree a reliable handoff to staff; do not judge readiness from a scripted greeting alone.

How we plan a robotics project ↗

Four ways to deploy

Choose the model. Then the terms.

All four options can be requested. Configuration, availability, minimum term and service scope are confirmed in your quote.

01

PurchaseEquipment ownership

Own the equipment. The quote defines configuration, deployment and the service package.

02

Short-term rentPriced per day

Use a robot for an agreed period. Confirm dates, availability, minimum term and setup costs before booking.

03

Long-term rentPriced per month

Plan for ongoing operation. Equipment, contract term, maintenance and responsibilities belong in the proposal.

04

RaaSManaged monthly model

Combine the robot with deployment and an agreed operating and service scope. Define monitoring, maintenance and performance measures for your site.

Before you choose

Questions worth asking.

Does every service robot support Arabic?

No category-wide language support is assumed. Voice, interface, content and any connected services must be checked on the exact model and software package.

Can it answer every customer question?

Limit answers to approved content and a defined interaction scope. A route to a member of staff is important for exceptions and sensitive questions.

How do we choose between delivery and reception robots?

Start with the primary task. Carrying capacity and secure handoff matter for delivery; interface, content and guest interaction matter for reception.
