What it does for your operation

Autonomous RFID inventory in a narrow warehouse aisle
In your operation

Find stock that the system says should be there

StockBot combines item identification with location information. This supports investigation of missing or misplaced merchandise instead of producing only a store-wide total.

Task performance

Read merchandise across different shelf heights

Two RAIN RFID readers and eight antennas support tag capture across the display. PAL lists reading heights up to 4 m, subject to the tag, product and installation.

Site fit

Fit the platform around the store layout

The body is 46 cm wide and 183 cm high. Navigation clearance and turning space still need to account for fixtures and shoppers rather than body width alone.

46 cm
Daily operation

Schedule the inventory through a browser

PAL WebGUI supports zones, schedules and operating controls. Automatic docking helps make counting a repeatable store process rather than a separate escorted task.

Connected systems

Connect RFID counts to inventory systems

Stockbot supports EPC UHF Class 1 Gen 2 tags. Inventory APIs exchange item records and stock differences with an ERP or WMS, using agreed product identifiers and reconciliation rules.

Access & operating limits

Inventory
Compatible RFID tags linked to product records.
Route
Mapped scan paths with fixture clearance, turning space and docking access; 460 mm is body width, not an approved passage.
Schedule
Assign zones, day and start time in PAL WebGUI. Time one representative route before repeating it in the daily schedule.
Data
Counts from selected tasks can be merged and sent through the configured API.

The 460 mm body width describes the robot, not a minimum aisle. Inventory is organised into mapped zones and scheduled tasks. Route completion and the 12 h operating / 4 h charging cycle determine the practical daily count schedule.

Before you decide.

What does StockBot return?

It records tag IDs, also called EPCs, and associated locations. Counts from one or more tasks can be combined for the selected time window and transferred to the inventory system.

How are inventory rounds scheduled?

PAL WebGUI supports mapped zones, tasks, days and start times. PAL lists up to 12 hours continuous operation and approximately four hours for a full recharge. The duration of the actual zone route determines how many rounds fit that cycle.

Is 46 cm the minimum aisle width?

No. It is the body width. The navigation route also includes clearance around fixtures, turns and access to the dock.
