What it does for your operation

Mobile picking robot operating against dense tote storage
In your operation

Pick suitable items directly in the storage aisle

Autopicker picks and consolidates compatible products in the aisle. Bringing the picking arm to the stock reduces repeated transfers to a central picking station.

Configuration

Keep difficult items in the same fulfilment flow

Staff pick products that are unsuitable for robotic picking at goods-to-person stations. Fast-moving items can also use a direct-from-case or pallet workflow.

Daily operation

Prepare orders outside staffed packing hours

Robots can pick and buffer orders for the next dispatch period. Packing and shipment handoffs still need to be planned around the site's operating schedule.

Connected systems

Connect order data through Intuition

Brightpick Intuition coordinates fulfilment and stock movement using standard APIs to the WMS. Conveyor and packing-station transfers are configured as part of the installation.

Site fit

Fit the fleet around shelves and packout

The system works with compatible shelving, totes and workstations. Plan robot routes and packout connections together, with enough space for replenishment and assisted picking.

Will it work at your site?

Access & operating limits

Products
Select the robot-pickable assortment within the published 2.5 kg limit; packaging, grasp access and tote fit determine the task. Route heavy or complex items to assisted picking.
Storage layout
Compatible shelving, totes, workstations and packout connections.
Environment
Ambient or stable chilled conditions, not sub-zero frozen operation.
Fleet size
The manufacturer publishes a minimum order of 15 robots.

Robot picking suitability is tested against your products. Fleet size, shelving, totes, workstations, software and service are defined in the project proposal.

Before you decide.

Can it pick every product automatically?

No. Brightpick publishes a robotic-picking limit of 2.5 kg and a minimum item diameter of 20 mm. Heavier or difficult-to-grasp products go to a goods-to-person station for a staff pick. Supported examples include polybagged apparel, medical products and chilled groceries; the system is not designed for frozen operation below 0 °C.

How are orders connected to warehouse software?

Brightpick Intuition exchanges order and replenishment data through WMS APIs and coordinates stock movement and handoffs.
