The application

What needs to get done?

Start with the workflow. These are different applications, not a ranking of interchangeable robots.

Selection logic

Four checks before the shortlist.

  1. Menu fit

Validate ingredients, portion sizes, recipe steps and acceptable variation.

  2. Peak orders

Compare real order patterns with the complete preparation and handoff cycle.

  3. Kitchen services

Check space, electrical supply, water, drainage and extraction where required.

  4. Food operations

Assign replenishment, cleaning, temperature checks and exception handling.

Your site. One project.

Design the station around your menu and kitchen.

Share the menu, peak orders, available space and existing kitchen services.

Compare the approaches

Frying, cooking, pizza or drinks?

ApproachThe jobWhat to establish
Frying and cooking ↗Repeat a defined preparation process for approved menu items.Ingredient preparation, recipes, batches and peak output.
Production workflow ↗Connect preparation, cooking and handoff at the counter.Utilities, layout, ventilation and cleaning access.
Serving or self-service sales ↗Move prepared food or sell stocked products.Separate delivery and checkout requirements from cooking.

Test the actual menu, not a generic robot-chef demonstration. Include ingredient replenishment, quality checks, sanitation and waste handling in the workflow. Throughput, hygiene requirements and certifications must be established for the quoted configuration and installation.

Which kitchen tasks still need staff?

Depending on the system, staff may prepare ingredients, replenish supplies, check quality, package orders and perform cleaning. Map these tasks explicitly and test the full peak-service cycle, including setup and sanitation, before calculating labour changes.

How we plan a robotics project ↗

Four ways to deploy

Choose the model. Then the terms.

All four options can be requested. Configuration, availability, minimum term and service scope are confirmed in your quote.

01

PurchaseEquipment ownership

Own the equipment. The quote defines configuration, deployment and the service package.

02

Short-term rentPriced per day

Use a robot for an agreed period. Confirm dates, availability, minimum term and setup costs before booking.

03

Long-term rentPriced per month

Plan for ongoing operation. Equipment, contract term, maintenance and responsibilities belong in the proposal.

04

RaaSManaged monthly model

Combine the robot with deployment and an agreed operating and service scope. Define monitoring, maintenance and performance measures for your site.

Before you choose

Questions worth asking.

Can the system prepare every item on our menu?

No general menu compatibility is assumed. Test approved ingredients, recipes, portion sizes and the required handling steps.

Does a cooking robot remove the need for kitchen staff?

Staff are still needed for tasks such as replenishment, cleaning, checks and exceptions. The exact division of work depends on the system.

Does an equipment specification prove local approval?

No. Site, food-service, safety and installation requirements must be checked for the actual project. Do not treat a product page as regulatory clearance.
