What it does for your operation

In your operation

Keep the picker focused on the item

Origin transports order containers through the warehouse while people perform the picks. This reduces the non-picking travel within the workflow.

Configurable tote, bin, carton and multi-level payload carriers
Task performance

Configure the payload around the order mix

Tote arrays, bins and shipping boxes support different order workflows. The payload limit is 36 kg; select the carrying arrangement around the order size and pick process.

Onboard picking instructions and worker performance interface
Daily operation

Guide work through a familiar tablet interface

The onboard interface directs the picking task, making it easier to introduce the workflow to new associates. Training still covers exceptions and the site's accuracy checks.

Connected systems

Coordinate mixed workflows through LocusONE

LocusONE coordinates Origin with other Locus robot types. Origin carries order containers for human pickers, while separate robot roles can support other fulfilment tasks.

Site fit

Adapt capacity within the existing operation

Origin supports deployment in existing warehouses and adjustable fleet capacity. Plan container arrangements, shared-aisle traffic and task dispatch around the order flow.

Will it work at your site?

Indoor

Access & operating limits

Routes
Indoor aisles with suitable floor condition and space for associates and robots.
Containers
Validate totes, load distribution and pick-height requirements.
Infrastructure
Provide agreed Wi-Fi coverage and charging locations.
Order flow
Connect WMS tasks and size the fleet for peak volumes and shifts.

A collaborative picking solution: associates pick the items while robots carry the orders. Tote layout, fleet capacity, integration and service are scoped for your operation.

Before you decide.

Does Origin take products from the shelf by itself?

No. People pick the items; Origin transports the order containers.

How does Origin differ from Locus Array?

Origin supports human-assisted picking. Array handles fully autonomous item-picking workflows. Both can be coordinated through LocusONE.

How is two-shift capacity planned?

Use completed picks per hour and available robots during peak periods, including travel, staff interaction and staggered charging. Origin supports autonomous opportunity charging; the fleet plan accounts for charging robots rather than assuming every unit works continuously.
