Guest interaction

In your operation

Reduce repeated carrying trips during service

The robot takes trays between assigned points, supporting food delivery and collection of used dishes. Staff load, unload and serve guests, while the robot handles the repeated journey across the dining floor.

Task performance

Carry several tables' orders on one route

Four trays support a combined 40 kg load, with a 10 kg limit per tray. Tray lighting helps staff and guests identify the correct order. Safe loading still depends on plate size, balance and the route.

Safety & sensing

Travel with fewer disturbances to the load

The chassis and obstacle-sensing system support stable movement around people and furniture. Route speed, braking and tray loading should be tested with the restaurant's actual drinks and dishes.

Site fit

Check the aisles at service time

The minimum published passage is 65 cm. Chairs pulled out, queues and staff stations can make an otherwise open route unusable, so mapping should reflect the restaurant during a busy shift.

Connected systems

Call a robot when the order is ready

Supported call devices and PUDU Link let teams trigger and follow tasks. Workflow and access interfaces are specified during setup; a ready-made POS connection is not assumed.

Configuration

Show promotions during service

The 18.5-inch display presents guest-facing promotional content as the robot moves around the venue. Choose content that fits the restaurant and remains readable at dining-room distances.

Access & operating limits

Route
Allow at least 65 cm passage and additional room around occupied chairs and queues.
Loading
Keep each tray within 10 kg and check stability with your dishes and drinks.
Hand-off
Define kitchen loading and table-side collection points.

Four open trays, 410 × 500 mm each, carry 10 kg per tray and 40 kg total. Vertical spacing changes with the tray arrangement. The published 11 h runtime is an unloaded test, not an eleven-hour meal-service guarantee. Dish-name recognition is not represented as included.

Before you decide.

What fits on each tray?

PUDU lists a 410 × 500 mm tray surface and 10 kg per-tray limit. The four-level arrangement has adjustable spacing; this page does not assign a fixed container-height allowance to every arrangement.

Does the 11 h figure cover a loaded meal-service shift?

No. It is PUDU’s unloaded runtime figure. Loaded trips, stops and service speed change operating time; charging is approximately 4.5 h.

What work remains with staff?

Staff load the open trays, serve or supervise collection, clear spills and handle blocked routes. The robot transports items between configured stops.
